    東京大学大学院工学系研究科 非線形自由表面条件を組み込んだナビエ・ストークス方程式の有限差分法による流場の数値解析法を開発し、2次元および3次元の、海洋波の海底地形との干渉による非線形変形や浮体に与える流体力を計算した。自由表面モデルは2次元では波高関数を、3次元ではパーティクル法を採用した。得られた計算結果の波高分布や圧力分布を計測結果と比較した結果、よい一致が見られ、計算手法の有効性を示した。

    東京大学大学院工学系研究科 線形波動である船首自由表面衝撃波が、後続の船体まわりの線形波動に与える影響について、水槽実験による流場計測とポテンシャル理論による数値計算を用いて解析した。数値計算では、実験で得られた自由表面衝撃波に伴う運動量損失領域を渦モデルで表現して、線形波動に対する影響を解析した。解析結果により、造波抵抗の線形成分と非線形成分の関係を考察した。
