    電弱相互作用と強い相互作用を統一する大統一理論を検証する目的で,理論が存在を予言し,宇宙誕生初期の超高温かつ超高密度状態で創られ現在も地球に降り注いでいるかもしれない超重磁気単極子等の超重粒子について,CR-39プラスチック飛跡検出器を地下に大面積に設置して探索する実験の計画と準備実験についてまとめた。
