着圧ソックスの衣服圧が日中活動時の浮腫防止と快適性に及ぼす影響

【目的】スパイラルなタイプの着圧ソックスでは現状の市販品よりも同タイプの強圧ソックスにしても日中活動中に快適性を損なわずに、浮腫防止効果を得られるではないかと仮説をたて、市販品と強圧品を比較実験し仮説を検証することを目的とする。
【研究方法】被験者は20代女性6名である。市販のスパイラルタイプの着圧ソックス(Lo)と同タイプで強圧タイプ(Hi)の試作品の着圧ソックスを比較した。衣服圧センサを用いて下腿、足首、足背の三箇所の衣服圧を計測した。同時に足背部分に血流計と皮膚温計をつけ、ウェアラブルセンサ(HEXOSKIN)を着用し心拍数、呼吸数、呼吸換気量も計測した。また浮腫解消効果を見るために実験前後に水置換法で容積を計測した。着圧ソックスを履いた状態で、立ち仕事をしている状況を想定するために30分立位姿勢後、トレッドミル上を時速4km/hrで30分間歩いた。そして10分おきに、下腿部全体の圧迫感、疲労感、快適感、むくみ解消感、温かさ、蒸れ感について5段階評価で主観申告を行った。
【結果および考察】主観申告結果から弱圧の方が全般には圧迫感が少なく、温かく、快適と感じることがわかった。血流量は、弱圧ソックスを履いた時よりも強圧ソックスを履いた時に血流量が増加する人と、低下する人がいた。そこで前者を血流増加群、後者を低下群として着圧条件間で他の項目でも比較した。血流増加群の主観申告で立位時には温冷感、蒸れ感、快適感で弱圧の方が高い評価であったが、運動時には蒸れ感と快適感で両者の差がなくなった。血流低下群では立位時には快適感が弱圧で高かったが、歩行時には有意差が無くなった。歩行によるポンピング効果による血流の増加により強圧でも快適感を損なわれない可能性が示唆された。皮膚温は、図2のように安静時は皮膚温が緩やかに低下し、その傾向は条件差がないが、歩行時には上昇し、その程度は血流増加群の方が皮膚温の上昇度が大きかった。特に弱圧ソックス履いた場合、平均皮膚温の上昇度が大きかった。血流低下群では強圧ソックスの方が皮膚温の上昇度が大きかった。このことから低下群では強圧の方が静脈還流を促す効果がより顕著であると示唆された。衣服圧は弱圧ソックスも強圧ソックスも足首部>下腿部>足背部の順に衣服圧は高くなっており、特に足首部では立位時より歩行時に衣服圧が高くメーカ表示値よりも計測値は高かった。実験前後の容積でも血流増加群では弱圧ソックスの方が、血流低下群では強圧ソックスの方がむくみ解消効果を得られることがわかった。呼吸換気量、活動量、心拍数などの結果から、強圧ソックスで筋負担が増加し、それに伴い呼吸数が増えて心拍数も増えると推察された。
【まとめ】本研究で検討した範囲では、主観的には快適感を損なわず、むくみ解消効果を見込むためには市販で販売されている程度の弱圧ソックスが全般には適していることがわかった。しかし血流低下群では強圧ソックスの方が皮膚温の上昇度、むくみ軽減がみられる傾向があった。人により圧の最適値が異なった理由に関してはさらなる検討が必要と考えらえる。 -

熱中症対策用 通学帽子の開発と実証実験

目的:夏季の児童の熱中症予防に効果的な通学帽子の素材特性とデザインを工夫した帽子2種を試作した.熱中症予防と温熱的快適性に及ぼす影響を明らかにするため物性試験および,小学生を対象とした実証実験を行い,生理,心理評価を行った.実験結果をもとに熱中症予防に効果的な通園通学用帽子の検証を行い,開発の指針を得ることを目的とする.
研究方法:熱中症予防に効果的な通学帽子として白B(換気口縦スリット),白C(換気口横スリット段差 )を試作した.比較のため黄(従来品(不透湿・不通気)を含め3種類を用意し,2021年9月にY小学校内の校庭にて3日間,午前9時頃から20分間,5年生30人の児童(男子)を3班に分け各日に異なる帽子を被ってもらい3種類総当たりでドッチボールをする被験者実験を行った.帽子の頭頂内側に温湿度センサ,胴部に活動量計,腕に心拍計を貼付し,主観申告は蒸れ感,湿潤感,べたつき感,温冷感,快適感を実験前後に教室にて回答させた.
被験者実験結果:帽子内相対湿度,温度,絶対湿度への帽子の種類の影響を検討したところ,帽子の種類が有意に影響を与えていた.帽子内絶対湿度に関して黄色帽子と比較して開発した白B白C帽子が有意に低かった.運動の後半では黄色帽子と白C帽子の間のみ有意差がみられた.帽子内相対湿度と帽子内温度においても同様の傾向がみられた. -
浴衣着装と模様学習による着物文化関心への効果と保護者の意識

目的:本研究では、浴衣着装のみの授業を行う中学校と浴衣着装後に模様ワーク授業を行う中学校の2校を対象に生徒に授業前後にアンケート調査を行い、模様ワークの有無が着物文化への興味関心や継承意欲に及ぼす影響を検証することを第1の目的とする。また、授業を受けた生徒の保護者を対象に、浴衣や着物に関する保護者の実態と、学校教育で着物文化を学習することについて調査を行い、着物文化に対する保護者の意識を明らかにすることを第2の目的とする。
研究の内容と方法:2021年、I中学校1年生138名(男子73名、女子65名)を対象に2時間(2回)構成の授業、K中学1年生77名(男子40名、女子37名)を対象に、3時間(1時間+2時間、2回)構成の授業が行われた。生徒には授業前後のアンケートに回答させ、保護者には浴衣や着物に関する経験や実態と着物文化学習に関するアンケート調査を行った。授業を受けた生徒全員から回答を得た。保護者からはI中学校69人(回収率50.0%)、K中学校から26人(回収率33.8%)の回答を得た。
結果及び考察:生徒の浴衣の着装経験は62%、着物は48%であった。保護者の浴衣と着物の着装経験はともに95%で、浴衣の所持は64%、着物は54%であった。保護者は着物を自分で着装するのは難しいが、機会があれば着装したいと80%以上が回答した。学校間の比較では、授業前に2校の差は見られなかったが、授業前後の比較では模様ワークを行ったI校の有意差が14項目であったのに対し行わなかったK校は6項目となった。着物文化への興味や誇り、着装への意欲などは両校とも高まったが、着装後に模様の名前や意味などを学習したI校では、模様への興味だけでなく、着物文化の継承意欲にも効果があることが示された。パス解析によっても同様の結果を得ることができた。自由記述には、着物文化の素晴らしさ、模様や柄の多様性、日本独自の文化とそれを創造した日本人の素晴らしさ、着物文化を継承したい等の内容が記述されていた。浴衣着装に加え模様ワークを行うことで、より継承意欲への効果を高めることが示された。保護者へのアンケートでは、学校間で意識の差はみられなかった。保護者は生徒に浴衣の着つけができるようになってほしい、着物のマナーやTPOなど着物文化の知識を身につけてほしい等、すべての項目で平均値が3以上の高い得点を示し、それらを学校教育で学んでほしいと考えていた。また、着物文化を受け継ぎ次世代へ継承することも期待していた。保護者は着物文化への知識や技能に自信がない人が多かったが、誇りや継承意識は高かった。着物文化を家庭内で継承していくことに自信を持てないことが、学校での学びに期待する要因となっていた。保護者からの期待の大きさからも学校で着物文化を学ぶ意義は大きいことが示唆された。 -

上履きの靴底の硬度の違いが歩行性能に及ぼす影響

【目的】本研究では,アンケート調査で明らかになった上履き着靴時の歩行での課題を改善するため,靴底の硬度が異なるバレエシューズ型上履き着靴時の歩行動作解析や筋電計測を通して歩行特性や生理的負荷を比較検討し,足への負担が低い上履きの硬度条件を明らかにすることを目的とする.
【研究方法】アキレス株式会社製の一般販売品「うわばき100」を標準(硬度56)とし,それより硬いもの(硬度67),柔らかいもの(硬度45)を工場で試作いただき,これら3条件を試料とした.被験者は本学大学生女子6名を対象とし,各々時速4㎞のトレッドミル上を各条件30分間歩行し,その開始2分及び28分に歩行動作及び筋電のデータを収録した.歩行動作は,歩行実験用マーカを左右の肩,腰,膝外側,踵,つま先の10か所に貼付し,股関節・膝関節・足関節の角度・角速度・角加速度を算出した.筋電は,センサを大腿直筋,大腿二頭筋,前脛骨筋,腓腹筋の4か所に貼付し計測した.呼吸数・心拍数・活動量の計測にはHexoskinウェアを用いた.主観申告は,歩きやすさ・窮屈さ・疲労度の3項目について,実験の開始0分,2分,15分,28分の計4回実施した.
【結果および考察】主観申告では硬い―柔らかい間で有意に硬い方が歩きやすかった.歩行動作では,各関節角度の一周期の経時変化において「標準」着用時の歩行が最も良いことが分かった.股関節において「柔らかい」着用時に足をしっかりと後ろまで運べておらず,他の条件よりも良い歩行姿勢ではないことが明らかとなった.一歩分の歩行周期において,最大値と最小値の差である振幅を⊿Sとして有意差検定を行ったところ,素材間での有意差は認められなかった.しかし,膝関節角度では「標準」着用時,股関節角度では「硬い」着用時に最も⊿Sが大きくメリハリのある歩行ができていたのに対し,股関節角速度及び角加速度では「柔らかい」着用時の⊿Sが小さくメリハリが小さい歩行であることが明らかとなった.筋電では,素材間での有意差は認められなかったものの,全体的に「柔らかい」着用時の筋電積分値が高く,他の条件よりも負担度が高いことが分かった.呼吸数・心拍数・活動量に関しては,呼吸数において「柔らかい」>「硬い」という有意差が認められた.心拍数ではいずれの時間も「柔らかい」着用時の値が大きく,呼吸数の増加が関係していると考えられる.
【まとめ】本研究で検討した範囲では,靴底が柔らかい上履きは身体への負担度が高く,歩行にも走行にも適していないことが明らかとなった.硬い上履きと標準の上履きでは項目によって結果が異なり,足への負担度が最も低い硬度を明らかにすることはできなかった.トレッドミル歩行である程度歩容が統制されていたため,硬度の違いによる差が出にくかった可能性がある.歩容を統制しない自然歩行での比較をすることが今後の課題である. -

Evaluation of comfort-related performance of masks for prevention of corona infection

We evaluated the comfort-related performance of corona infection prevention masks, particle collection efficiency, airflow resistance, ventilation rate, thermal insulation and evaporative heat resistance of masks made of seven different types of materials and fit. The results of the particle collection efficiency of the masks showed that masks other than urethane type had a collection efficiency of 80% or higher under both resting and exercise equivalent conditions, which is sufficient for masks used in daily life to prevent infection. Experiments on ventilation rates showed that gaps tend to occur in non-medical masks, and both pleated and three-dimensional masks were affected by the fit of the cheek sides, with increased ventilation from the sides if the fit was not sufficient. Care should be taken to avoid gaps when wearing the mask. The measurement results of thermal insulation and evaporative heat resistance of the entire head showed that the masks with nanofibers tended to have lower resistance, especially in evaporative heat resistance. Masks with low evaporative heat resistance are considered desirable from the standpoint of comfort.

Regional differences in preventive behaviors against heat disorders during COVID-19 infection prevention

The questionnaire survey was conducted from June to September 2021 on preventive behaviors against heat disorders under COVID-19 infection prevention. A total of 208 respondents aged 18-29 were divided into three groups which were Hokkaido, Kanto and Kansai region. In the Kanto and Kansai regions, people were more aware of the need to prevent heat stroke in summer than in Hokkaido, and took measures to prevent heat stroke by using body cooling products and air conditioners. Air conditioners and dehumidifiers were also used in houses. In Hokkaido, people were less conscious of preventive behaviors against heat disorders, and air conditioners and dehumidifiers were not widely used in houses. People in Kansai had the highest thermal discomfort due to wearing masks, and used cloth masks slightly more than the other regions. The respondents in Hokkaido were the most positive about removing masks, while those in Kanto were the most negative. These results suggest that regional differences in climate and COVID-19 infection status make a difference in people's awareness of heat disorders and preventive behaviors.

We have conducted a questionnaire survey on preventive behaviors of heat disorders in daily life while taking prevention against the new coronavirus COVID-19 infection. The questionnaire survey was made from June to September, 2021. In the study, targeted subjects were over 18 years old who were living in Japan. The subjects were divided into 3 groups which were young (ranged from 18-39 year-old), middle-aged (ranged from 40-64 year-old), elderly (over 65 year-old). It was resulted that scores in behaviors in daily life for preventing heat disorders were higher in the elderly group than those in both the young and the middle-aged groups. Higher scores were also seen in the elderly group in using electric devices and ingenuity such as employing Japanese blinds to stay cool in house than those in the other 2 groups. Furthermore, scores about wearing clothes and using textile products such as parasols were also higher in the elderly group than those in the other groups. Furthermore, prevent heat disorder scores through wearing clothes and using textile products such as parasols were higher in the elderly group compared to the other groups. The obtained scores about putting mask on/off situations indicated that the elderly people tended to keep putting their masks on even if physical distancing was kept long enough.

The recent heat environment is so severe as we want to measure that heat environment simply and accurately. A study was conducted on the use of a reflector to enable comparison of thermal images for four directions taken at the same time by a surface mirror on a single image. A simple method of measuring emissivity was described using the instruments to measure radiant temperature. The use of multi-directional thermal radiation reflecting mirrors and their usefulness were discussed. The reflectance of reflective sheets recently acquired was found to be lower than that of the past, and even relatively thick film-based ones showed peripheral warping and lacked uniformity. The sheet based on glass showed lower distortion. However, glass-cutting techniques are required to process them into small pieces. Therefore, the Committee planned to insert small pieces of film-based commercial products into the present proceedings. We would like to find the opinions of the academic society members on its use and contribute to further usage and check for simple accuracy.

小学生を対象にした新型コロナウィルス感染症予防対策下での熱中症に対する意識・実態調査

目的:本研究ではコロナ感染症予防対策の一環でのマスクの着用が義務付けられてきた中で熱中症予防およびマスク着用に対する小学生児童の意識や対策の実態を前報の成人対象の調査結果と比較しつつ、明らかにすることを目的とする。
研究方法:本研究では、横浜市にある小学校の5年生児童122名を対象として2021年11月にSurveyMonkey®を使用した意識・実態調査を実施した。回答者の性別は男子59名、女子58名、その他(性別無回答含む)5名であった。調査票の質問項目は、生活の中での熱中症予防行動、前年(2020年)の夏に着用したマスク、感染予防を心掛けながらマスクを外しても良いと思うシーン等である。各設問は、主に、4件法にて評価させた。なお、実施に当たり事前に横浜国立大学研究倫理委員会の承認を経て、児童本人および保護者にインフォームドコンセントを行い、承諾を得られた対象者に調査を実施した。
結果:児童は、熱中症の症状把握を望ましいと認識し、実際、その症状を成人よりも良く把握していた。普段から冷房使用、休息、水分補給、屋外日陰選択等の熱中症予防を行っていたが、屋外活動控えや情報収集による予防はあまり行わなかった。服装等を利用した熱中症対策として熱・水分移動を促す着方や冷却グッズを利用していたものの、日射を遮蔽する着方は帽子着用以外、前者よりも利用が少なかった。児童は使い捨て不織布マスクを最も着用し、布マスク、機能性マスクはやや着用し、ウレタン、洗える不織布マスクや医療用マスクはあまり利用しなかった。過去2年間を比較して感染拡大防止のためにマスクを着用する意識は2年とも高いが、2021年には熱中症リスクの高い時にマスクを着用しない方が良いとの意識が高まり、マスク着用で暑さを感じる時に、冷却グッズを併用すること等、暑熱解消行動に積極的であった。家族と他者でマスクを外す状況が異なり、家族と一緒に過ごす時、距離に依らずマスクを外すことに肯定的であった。他者とでは日常生活の中で距離が十分に離れていても、室内と屋外ともに、マスクを外すことに対しては否定的であった。 -

Since evaporation and dissipation of heat from the human body are important factors for thermal comfort of clothing in a dynamic environment such as a hot environment or during exercise, we first introduced the characteristics of perspiration caused by environmental thermal stimuli and exercise.
Furthermore, the contribution of not only the clothing material but also the design of the clothing to the thermal comfort of the clothing is significant. The author introduced the research trend of evaluating the ventilation rate by the tracer gas method as a method to evaluate the contribution of clothing design to the heat and moisture transfer of clothing in hot weather, and introduced some examples of research applied to diapers, outdoor parkas as clothing that easily evaporates, including the author's own research. Further research is expected to be conducted on methods to accurately evaluate local evaporative heat transfer coefficients under dynamic conditions. -

1.目的
本研究では、暑熱環境下で熱中症予防に効果的な通学帽子の素材特性とデザインの工夫が温熱的快適性に及ぼす影響を明らかにするため素材物性試験及び、生理的反応と心理的反応の特徴を、被験者実験結果をもとに把握し、熱中症予防に効果的な通園通学用帽子の開発を行うことを目的とする。
2.研究内容・方法
熱中症予防に効果的な通学帽子としてFM(高通気・高透湿、日射遮蔽・換気口あり)を試作した。比較のためYE(従来品で不透湿・不通気)、WH(透湿・通気性改善現行品)と合わせて3種類(Fig.1参照)を用意し、2021年3月に本大学構内の人工気候室にて30℃50%RHの暑熱環境で、簡易風洞で1.5m/sの風速下で被験者実験を行った。条件毎に別日程同時間帯に着用させ10分間の安静の後、15分間踏み台昇降での運動を行い、20分間の回復期間で効果を比較検討した。体重と口腔温を測定した後に各センサ(皮膚温,衣服内温湿度,熱流束,耳内温,心拍)を貼付し、主観申告は5分毎に行った。各々の実験から得られたデータより条件比較した。
3.結果および考察
素材物性試験では通気性、透湿性、日射遮蔽性においてFMの効果が明らかになった。被験者実験では、蒸れ感・べとつき感、帽子内湿度前面、平均皮膚温等で有意差があり、皮膚温・耳内温・発汗速度・衣服内温湿度・心拍数においてFMやWHがYEよりも低い結果であった。YEの素材は不透湿・不通気であるため、頭部からの汗の蒸発を妨げ、頭部の蒸れ、べとつきにつながったと考えられる。透湿・通気改善現行品WHでは、素材の透湿性により、頭部皮膚温の上昇と蒸れを改善できたものと推測する。換気口ありのFMでは頭部前部の帽子内湿度はWHよりも低かったが、皮膚温の運動後にはWHよりも高くなった。裏地に使用した素材の高い断熱性の影響で頭部からの汗の蒸発を妨げたため、着用者が暑さを感じる結果になったと考えられる。裏地素材を変更することにより改善できる可能性がある。 -

Purpose: Furoshiki is one of the eco-friendly traditional culture that can be folded up small and changed its size and shape according to its use, and it contains the wisdom of Japanese people. Plastic shopping bags were made chargeable in 2019. We thought that learning about the characteristics of furoshiki would provide a hint for considering issues of environmental problem, so we carried out the class that includes hands-on experience with furoshiki as a cross-unit lesson on the subject of furoshiki in the areas of consumption and clothing. The purpose of this study is to clarify whether the program is effective in improving children's interest in traditional culture and their awareness of environmental considerations.
Method: A questionnaire survey was conducted before and after the class with 90 students from the 6th grade of K Elementary School in Yokohama City. In the first class, students learned about the history and use of furoshiki, and in the second class, students experienced using furoshiki. The e-learning materials were made in advance so that the students could learn practically, and they could view them in their group activities.
Results: Based on the post-class questionnaire, a factor analysis was conducted, and four factors were extracted: Factor 1: "Interest in Furoshiki" Factor 2: "Energy saving behavior," Factor 3: "3R behavior," and Factor 4: "Bringing handkerchiefs behavior”. The value of Factor 1 and 2 improved significantly. This class practice increased interest in furoshiki, motivated students to use it, and raised their awareness of environmental considerations. -

Introduction
This study aims to find out the effect of vapor permeability and opening design of outdoor parka and environmental velocity on its vapor transfer and ventilation rate. Experiments using sweating thermal manikin and tracer gas method was conducted. To verify the validity of the indirect evaluation method of evaporative heat transfer from ventilation rate by tracer gas method and the direct measurement of evaporative heat transfer by sweating thermal manikin at the same time and comparing both of them.
Literature Review
Havenith et al. (1990a), showed the effect of walking and/or wind on reduction of thermal insulation and proposed a correction equation to calculate the resultant dynamic thermal insulation from the static thermal insulation revised by walking speed and/or wind speed. Subsequently, Havenith et al. (1990b) also proposed the way to calculate the vapor resistance from the ventilation rate due to ventilation and/or wind by using a tracer gas method (steady state method) and further they compared the different tracer gas methods (Havenith et al., 2010). Ueda & Havenith (2006) investigated the effect of air permeability, opening condition and clothing air gap between skin and clothing on ventilation during walking and/or wind in protective clothing. They found that the ventilation was affected not only by the air permeability (one of the material factors of clothing) but also by the constructive factor like openings and the air gap between skin and clothing. The authors (Satsumoto et al., 2010) tried to measure the ventilation rate of a diaper using a walking infant manikin that can simulate periodic gait using a steady-state method.
Research Method
To make clear the effect of the aperture and the vapor permeability of the material, outdoor parkas were made whose vapor permeable levels are different 3 levels (high permeable HP, middle permeable MP, impermeable IM) and whose aperture can be changed open or closed. The apertures of an outdoor parka were installed in 4 positions (chest, waist, back and waist), and when these were closed, a apertures were sealed by a tape. To make the reproducibility improve heat and vapor transfer from a human body, a sweating thermal manikin was used. The ventilation rates of the outdoor parka were estimated using tracer gas method concurrently. To make the influence of the wind velocity of the environment clear, ventilation rate was measured at wind velocity 0,0.5and1.0m/s.
Results & Discussion
t was found that the vapor permeability of the material and the apertures were effective in improvement of evaporative heat transfer. It became clear that there was a correlation in ventilation rate and evaporative heat transfer in correlation of 0.85 except for MP. When the permeability of the material for carbon dioxide were estimated, it became clear that the MP was impermeable for carbon dioxide. The indirect evaluation method of evaporative heat transfer from ventilation rate by tracer gas method can be applied except MP. Ventilation rate was so big that the wind velocity of the environment became big, and contribution of vapor permeability of the material was big to 0.5m/s, and the influence of a aperture was small, but the effect of the opening of a aperture equaled vapor permeability in 1.0m/s, and it became conspicuous. There was correlation in the wind velocity of the environment for ventilation rate. Contribution of vapor permeability of the material was big to 0.5m/s, and the influence of a aperture was small, but the effect of the aperture equaled vapor permeability in 1.0m/s.
Conclusion
It was found out that the vapor permeability and the apertures of outdoor parka were effective on its vapor transfer and ventilation rate by experiments using sweating thermal manikin and tracer gas methods. The validity of the indirect evaluation method of evaporative heat transfer from ventilation rate by tracer gas method was verified except MP which was impermeable for carbon dioxide but permeable for vapor. There was correlation in the wind velocity of the environment for ventilation rate. Contribution of vapor permeability of the material was big to 0.5m/s, and the influence of a aperture
was small, but the effect of the aperture equaled vapor permeability in 1.0m/s.

We evaluated the comfort-related performance of corona infection prevention masks, particle collection efficiency, airflow resistance, ventilation rate, thermal insulation and evaporative heat resistance of masks made of seven different types of materials and fit. The results of the particle collection efficiency of the masks showed that masks other than urethane type had a collection efficiency of 80% or higher under both resting and exercise equivalent conditions, which is sufficient for masks used in daily life to prevent infection. Experiments on ventilation rates showed that gaps tend to occur in non-medical masks, and both pleated and three-dimensional masks were affected by the fit of the cheek sides, with increased ventilation from the sides if the fit was not sufficient. Care should be taken to avoid gaps when wearing the mask. The measurement results of thermal insulation and evaporative heat resistance of the entire head showed that the masks with nanofibers tended to have lower resistance, especially in evaporative heat resistance. Masks with low evaporative heat resistance are considered desirable from the standpoint of comfort.

The recent heat environment is so severe as we want to measure that heat environment simply and accurately. A study was conducted on the use of a reflector to enable comparison of thermal images for four directions taken at the same time by a surface mirror on a single image. A simple method of measuring emissivity was described using the instruments to measure radiant temperature. The use of multi-directional thermal radiation reflecting mirrors and their usefulness were discussed. The reflectance of reflective sheets recently acquired was found to be lower than that of the past, and even relatively thick film-based ones showed peripheral warping and lacked uniformity. The sheet based on glass showed lower distortion. However, glass-cutting techniques are required to process them into small pieces. Therefore, the Committee planned to insert small pieces of film-based commercial products into the present proceedings. We would like to find the opinions of the academic society members on its use and contribute to further usage and check for simple accuracy.

The questionnaire survey was conducted from June to September 2021 on preventive behaviors against heat disorders under COVID-19 infection prevention. A total of 208 respondents aged 18-29 were divided into three groups which were Hokkaido, Kanto and Kansai region. In the Kanto and Kansai regions, people were more aware of the need to prevent heat stroke in summer than in Hokkaido, and took measures to prevent heat stroke by using body cooling products and air conditioners. Air conditioners and dehumidifiers were also used in houses. In Hokkaido, people were less conscious of preventive behaviors against heat disorders, and air conditioners and dehumidifiers were not widely used in houses. People in Kansai had the highest thermal discomfort due to wearing masks, and used cloth masks slightly more than the other regions. The respondents in Hokkaido were the most positive about removing masks, while those in Kanto were the most negative. These results suggest that regional differences in climate and COVID-19 infection status make a difference in people's awareness of heat disorders and preventive behaviors.

We have conducted a questionnaire survey on preventive behaviors of heat disorders in daily life while taking prevention against the new coronavirus COVID-19 infection. The questionnaire survey was made from June to September, 2021. In the study, targeted subjects were over 18 years old who were living in Japan. The subjects were divided into 3 groups which were young ‹ranged from 18-39 year-old›, middle-aged ‹ranged from 40-64 year-old›, elderly ‹over 65 year-old›. It was resulted that scores in behaviors in daily life for preventing heat disorders were higher in the elderly group than those in both the young and the middle-aged groups. Higher scores were also seen in the elderly group in using electric devices and ingenuity such as employing Japanese blinds to stay cool in house than those in the other 2 groups. Furthermore, scores about wearing clothes and using textile products such as parasols were also higher in the elderly group than those in the other groups. Furthermore, prevent heat disorder scores through wearing clothes and using textile products such as parasols were higher in the elderly group compared to the other groups. The obtained scores about putting mask on/off situations indicated that the elderly people tended to keep putting their masks on even if physical distancing was kept long enough.

In order to clarify the effect of a cooling pad attached to the back of a school backpack, experiments were conducted in an artificial climate chamber with two types of cooling pads (BP and WP) of different materials and without a cooling pad (NP), to compare heat and moisture transfer and physiological responses. As a result, there was no significant difference in the subjective vote, but the mean value of comfort was more uncomfortable without pads. Although the cover factor of WP was larger than that of BP, the moisture permeability resistance of the materials was about the same, suggesting that the thinner thickness of BP led to the difference in cooling effect. It is thought that the design with the space for the cooling pad helped to improve the heat moisture transfer.

目的:暑熱環境下でスポーツ用パーカーに換気口を設け、人工気候室で有風環境での換気口の前・後部に開口した時に後部のみ開口と比べ温熱的快適性向上に寄与するかを明らかにすることを目的とする。
研究内容・方法:実験は前部・背部に換気口を配置したスポーツ用パーカーの前部・背部とも開口したopenと前部閉鎖(背部のみ開口)したclosedの2条件で行った。被験者は男子大学生6名とし、人工気候室(気温26℃,湿度50%RH)を使用した。各センサ(皮膚温,衣服内温湿度,熱流束,外耳道温,心拍)を貼付し、実験は安静10分,運動20分,回復20分で行った。主観申告は5分毎に行った。蒸発熱伝達率や熱通過率を算出し値を比較した。
結果および考察:平均皮膚温、外耳道温では運動中や運動直後にclosedが高値を示し、衣服内湿度では回復時にclosedが高値を示した。熱通過率では腹部でopenが運動後半に有意に高値を示した。しかし、背部の熱通過率に有意差はなかった。背面のみでなく、前面にも換気口を開けることで運動中に前面から受ける風が衣服の中を通り、換気で熱移動が促進されることを期待し検証したが、その効果が前部の腹部の開口部で限定的であった。蒸発熱伝達率は胸部および背部ともに有意差はなかったが、openがclosedよりも運動中に高値だった。有効発汗量や発汗効率はopenが高値を示した。主観申告では温冷感、湿潤感、べとつき感、蒸れ感、快適感のすべてで有意差が認められた。 -
成人用おむつの熱水分移動性および温熱的快適性評価

1.目的:本研究においては温熱的影響が顕著であり、高齢者の使用が多い成人用紙おむつを試料とし、成人用紙おむつに高分子吸収体(以下SAP)の入っている市販おむつと入っていない試作おむつの2種の物性について、被験者実験においては把握しづらいため、物理実験によりおむつの物性を検討した。成人用紙おむつの快適性について、生理評価、心理評価の両側面からアプローチした被験者実験を行った。
2.方法:成人用紙おむつの熱水分移動性評価を①酢酸カリウム法による透湿抵抗と②模擬皮膚装置での熱水分移動実験、③濡れ冷え・濡れ広がり実験によりSAPの有無とおむつの濡れの有無による比較実験を行った。また、おむつの快適性について被験者実験を行った。足湯と模擬排尿による温熱負荷をかけ、おむつ内温湿度と心理評価を行い、快適性評価への影響を探った。
3.結果及び考察:成人用紙おむつを試料とした物性実験においては、短時間であるとSAP有りのほうが水分移動がしやすく、長時間たつとSAP無しのほうが水分移動がしやすくなることがわかった。性能が良いとされているSAPありのおむつでも、内部のSAPが水分を保持したままではなく、湿度に対して感応して吸湿・放湿を繰り返す平衡吸湿率をもつというSAPの特性によって、おむつ内が不快な環境になることが明らかとなった。熱水分移動実験において水分移動を計測する際には、おむつからの放湿量を把握する必要があることが分かった。被験者実験において以下のことが明らかとなった。快適感とおむつ内温湿度の関係より、本実験での被験者の快適域は約33±2℃、約50±20%RHであり、通常の衣服内環境の快適域(32±1℃、50±10%RH)と比べ、広域であることがわかった。水分を伴う排泄器官がある衣服内環境であるおむつ内の気候であるため、許容範囲が広くなって快適域が広くなったと考えられる。SAPなしの方が後部まで濡れ広がり、温度が低く湿度が高くなった。しかし、主観評価では試料間における有意な差はみられなかった。

Body temperature measurement is popular to confirm the disease of the new coronavirus. In particular, the use of non-contact thermometers, which have a short time for measurement, is increasing. When the skin surface such as the forehead is measured with a radiation thermometer that used to measure radiant energy, it shows about 34 ° C instead of 36.6 ° C. Therefore, this committee planned to try commercial products such as non-contact thermometers and to confirm their usage method and measurement of accuracy. We have already introduced a simple method for making a calibration furnace using a standard thermometer. However, the method of selecting a thermometer to be used at the same time cannot be overlooked. In order to improve reliability, the calibration method of the basic inexpensive standard glass thermometer with 1/10 scale will be described. IR thermometers showed around 30.6 ° C when the skin surface temperature was measured without any mode setting. However, when the skin surface temperature was measured by using human body mode of the thermometer, they showed 35.5 ° C to 35.8 ° C. In other products, it indicated Lo and could not measure. Therefore, it is necessary to understand the characteristics of the device and desirable to prepare the temperature calibration furnace shown in this paper.

Proposal of attaching a suction fan on Obi sash to improve the thermal comfort in wearing a Yukata

To prevent heat stroke and to improve the thermal comfort in wearing yukata, the suction type fan was installed in the Obi sach while maintaining the traditional construction of the Yukata. To evaluate the effect of the fan, the experiment were done with and without fan. The absolute humidity of the "without fans" was humid at the abdomen and the lower back and low at the upper arm and middle humid at the chest and a back. The absolute humidity of the “with fans" was lower than one of "without fans" at the chest, the back, the abdomen and the lower back. It was found that when the suction fan was attached in the obi sash, absolute humidity and heart rate decline significantly. The thermal, damp, wet, sticky, stuffy and comfort sensations were improved with fans at all.

若年群と中年群の被験者を対象にパンプス着靴時の歩行動態を筋電と同期して三次元動画解析し,ビジネス用パンプスのヒールの高さが歩行性能に及ぼす影響について裸足歩行と比較し,パンプス歩行の特徴およびそれに年齢が及ぼす影響を明らかにすることを目的とする.

歩行動作解析により,右膝関節・右足踵関節の角度・角速度・角加速度について検討した.踵関節においては屈曲・伸展がヒールにより固定され差がみられなかった.右膝関節角度で2期最大値と4期最小値の角度差(⊿Sa)において,h3>h5>裸足>h7で膝関節角度変化量⊿Saが有意に大きくなっていた.この順に関節の屈伸が良くできていることがわかる.中年群は若年群よりも全体的に膝関節角度が小さく,膝が曲がっている.これに対して若年群では特に、90-100%付近において角度が大きく、膝をしっかりと伸ばしていることがわかる(図2).両世代の右膝関節角加速度の⊿Sacの有意差検定を行ったところ、すべての靴条件において世代で有意差がみられた。若年群より中年群で⊿Sacが小さく、若年群ではヒールの高さによる差は見られなかったが、中年群ではヒールが高くなるほど⊿Sacが小さくなる傾向が見られた(図3).中年群では右膝角速度においてもh3やh5に比べh7の⊿Svも小さくなっていた.ヒール高が低い方が歩行しやすいことがわかった. -

To prevent heat stroke and to improve the thermal comfort in wearing yukata, the suction type fan was installed in
the Obi sach while maintaining the traditional construction of the Yukata. To evaluate the effect of the fan, the experiment
were done with and without fan. The absolute humidity of the “without fans” was humid at the abdomen and the lower back
and low at the upper arm and middle humid at the chest and a back. The absolute humidity of the “with fans” was lower than
one of “without fans” at the chest, the back, the abdomen and the lower back. It was found that when the suction fan was
attached in the obi sash, absolute humidity and heart rate decline significantly. The thermal, damp, wet, sticky, stuffy and
comfort sensations were improved with fans at all. -

To develop the suitable material and the apertures design of an outdoor parka to promote heat and evaporative heat transfer from the human body in the outdoor activities, this study aims to find out the effect of vapor permeability and the apertures of outdoor parka and wind velocity on its evaporative heat transfer and ventilation rate by experiments using sweating thermal manikin (Fig.1) and tracer gas methods. The indirect evaluation method of evaporative heat transfer coefficient he-indirect (abbr. he-id) from ventilation rate by tracer gas method was proposed by Havenith[1]. To verify the validity of he-id, it was evaluated whether there is correlation in ventilation rate and evaporative heat transfer coefficient he-direct (abbr. he-d) measured by sweating thermal manikin directly.

To improve ventilation efficiency of a sports parka, the most suitable location of the ventilation aperture was considered from a results of ventilation and the distribution of wind velocity in clothing microclimate with manikin. The sports parka, whose ventilation aperture were arranged for the most suitable location, the sample parka was made. Subjective experiments were done to evaluate the effect of ventilation aperture. It was found that the thermal and damp sensation and ventilation efficiency and microclimate humidity with parka with aperture were improved and the heat-transfer coefficient and evaporative heat transfer coefficient in the clothing increased compared one without the aperture.

There are a lot of kinds of the thermometry apparatus. Relatively cheap, high speed, simple and easy measuring
equipment are used. We often get different thermal environmental elements value. When we measured on the same
environment condition because temperature and heat radiation are equal in testing chamber, we can measure high precision.
At the time of everyday life, in an air conditioner under the summer heat environment and a heater at the time of the
chilliness and under the heterogeneous heat radiation environment, heat radiation and temperature are not equal. It is
necessary to check emission environment particularly then. In spring and the autumn season, there is much top and bottom
difference of temperature. Even with a low-power LED lamp, lighting fixtures generate heat. When we measure temperature,
there are methods to reduce the heat radiation that a sensor receives and to gain convection heat transfer. This report is a
method to insert a temperature measurement sensor in a ventilation pipe. The sensor which we used just made it the one
which could conjugate. We examined battery, the fan motor and digital relative humidity sensors to lengthen use time. We
want to describe the production of a tool measuring temperature, the humidity, the heat radiation income, expenditure and
water evaporation quantity from the surface in the narrow district such as a wall, clothes and the bedding. -
Measurements of thermal environment and heart rate of elderly people during sleeping in summer

The thermal environment and physiological data of elderly people during sleeping were measured for 8 days in summer. As physiological data, skin temperature of chest and thigh, temperature and relative humidity under clothing at chest and heart rate were measured with portable sensors. Subjects spent as usual, including setting room temperature of their air conditioner. Thermal environment of sleeping environment was about 27.8C in air temperature and 56% in relative humidity. In this paper, the physiological data of an elderly male subject were reported.

This study aims to find out the effect of vapor permeability and aperture of outdoor parka and environmental velocity on its heat and vapor transfer and ventilation rate. Experiments using sweating thermal manikin and tracer gas method was conducted. It was found out that the vapor permeability and the apertures of outdoor parka were effective on its vapor transfer and ventilation rate by experiments using sweating thermal manikin and tracer gas methods. The validity of the indirect evaluation method of evaporative heat transfer from ventilation rate by tracer gas method was verified except MP which was impermeable for carbon dioxide but permeable for vapor. There was correlation in the wind velocity of the environment for ventilation rate. Contribution of vapor permeability of the material was big to 0.5m/s, and the influence of the aperture was small, but the effect of the aperture equaled vapor permeability in 1.0m/s.

<b>Purpose</b>: The moisture permeable waterproof performance is requested to maintain thermal comfort of outdoor shoes. Gore-tex is the mainstream as a conventional moisture permeable waterproof film, but it can't be said that water vapor transfer is enough at the time of the activity that perspiration is intense, and development of a moisture permeable waterproof film with the further function is expected. On the other hand, development of a nano fiber is developed, and a study about the application use is considered. This research aims to evaluate ventilation rate and the moisture permeability of shoes with the moisture permeable waterproof nanofiber film which is made of a moisture permeable waterproof film of NafiaS that NafiaS Incorporated has developed, and compare with shoes with Gore-tex film is used.<br><br><b>Methods</b>: Authors made shoes of 3 kinds different in fabric composition of shoes (1.NafiaS/44G Tricot, 2. NafiaS/CORDURA and 3.Gore-tex) and estimated the ventilation rate during walking and moisture permeability.<br><br><b>Result</b>: When measurement of ventilation rate and moisture permeability by using quasi-walking foot and permeable foot apparatus were performed and 3 kinds of shoes were compared. The ventilation rate of 1.NafiaS/44G Tricot and 2.NafiaS/CORDURA were increased more than 3.Gore-tex shoes, each 128% and 117%, the moisture permeability of them were increased each 50% and 31%.<br><br><b>Conclusion</b>: The ventilation rate and the moisture permeability indicated a high result compared with shoes with Gore-tex for shoes with NafiaS.

レインコートでは人体の熱や不感蒸散や汗を衣服外に放出しつつ雨の浸透を防ぐ必要がある。そこで、換気口に雨の浸透の起きにくい3次元網布を配置した換気口つきのレインコートを開発した。そこでトレーサガス法を用いてレインコートの換気性能に素材の透湿性や換気口の開口条件がおよぼす効果を明らかにすることを目的として実験を行った。トレーサガス法ではチューブの径の影響が実験結果に影響するか、検討したところ、直径が2mmの場合4mmよりも15%程度値が小さくなったが、素材や換気口の影響は同様の傾向がみられたため、被験者の負担軽減を考えると直径が細いチューブを用いる方が良いと判断された。換気口が無いと透湿性の有無が顕著に換気速度に影響し、安静時には透湿性があると1.5倍、歩行時では1.8倍、換気速度が向上した。一方、換気口があると透湿が無くても透湿素材と遜色ない換気速度であった。
