<p> In the present study, to clarify the risk of heat disorder and thermal comfort during moderate exercise while wearing a mask in a hot environment, masks to prevent infection of three different types were compared in a subjective experiment in a climatic chamber. We evaluated the materials' physical properties and the comfort-related performance of each mask. The external ear temperature of each mask was lower than the standard for a serious condition of heat disorder, indicating that each mask does not pose a significant risk of heat disorder. The particle collection efficiency of the pleated nanofiber-nonwoven mask (NF) was above 90%. The mask microclimate temperature and uncomfortable feeling of NF were lower than other masks. For moderate exercise in a hot environment, the NF was found to be the most suitable mask in terms of infection prevention and thermal comfort.</p>

The Committee has studied topics related to the visualization of thermal radiation environments and the measurement of thermal energy. In addition, the relationship between those mutual measurement objects and measurement devices is greatly affected by the incident, reflected, and transmitted energy. In addition, changes in the measured values were observed depending not only on the objects but also on the environmental conditions in which they were placed. In the present study, a prism-based monochromator and a plastic diffraction grating: replica grating (RG) have been used for spectroscopy. The use of a grating with a CD groove spacing of 1.6 μm (625 lines/mm) or a DVD grating with a groove spacing of 0.74 μm (1,300 lines/mm) as a diffraction grating provides higher resolution than the aforementioned RGs. In this article, we describe how to make a simple spectrometer using RG and supply a simple diffraction grating that allows the user to see the wavelength characteristics of energy transmitted through natural light, various light sources, filters, etc. We hope that the user will make a spectrometer and use it effectively, referring to the fabrication diagram of a box to stabilize the optical path described below.

To prevent heat stroke and to improve the thermal comfort in wearing yukata, the suction type fan was installed in the Obi sach while maintaining the traditional construction of the Yukata. To evaluate the effect of the fan, the experiment were done with and without fan. The absolute humidity of the "without fans" was humid at the abdomen and the lower back and low at the upper arm and middle humid at the chest and a back. The absolute humidity of the “with fans" was lower than one of "without fans" at the chest, the back, the abdomen and the lower back. It was found that when the suction fan was attached in the obi sash, absolute humidity and heart rate decline significantly. The thermal, damp, wet, sticky, stuffy and comfort sensations were improved with fans at all.

Variation of Compressive Deformation of Body Surface and Fat Thickness by Age of Adult Females

<p>The compressive deformation of the body surface and the fat thickness of adult females were measured at 89 points on the left side of each subject's body and the relationship between these two factors was analyzed in relation to the age of the subject. The subjects were 20 adult females, comprising of 10 young and 10 middle-aged females. The results showed the degree of compressive deformation was high in the papillary area, the area from the lower chest to the abdomen, the anteroposterior axillary region, the buttocks, the back of the upper arm, and the inner femoral region. At these points, the middle-aged females recorded even higher values than the young females. The results of the fat thickness measurements showed the same pattern as the results of the compressive deformation measurements. Fat thickness was notably higher in the abdomens of middle-aged females. A significant positive correlation was found between compressive deformation and fat thickness in both young and middle-aged females. The variation was, however, greater in middle-aged females. It was found that if a middle-aged female and a young female had the same fat thickness, the former's degree of compressive deformation was significantly larger than the latter.</p>

特別支援学校と教育支援教室におけるゆかた着装体験が生徒の情緒に与える影響の比較

本研究では、特別支援学校の高校生、教育支援センター内の教育支援教室に通級する中学生を対象に、ゆかたの着装体験とその後のワークを行い、実践の前後に生徒を対象としたアンケート調査と、教員への面接を実施することにより、生徒の着物文化に対する意識、連帯感や仲間意識、自己肯定感等の情緒にどのような影響を与えるか、また、校種による効果の違いがあるかを明らかにすることを目的とした。その結果、両校の生徒とも、ゆかた着装とワークの実践により、着物を身近に感じる機会になり、「また着てみたい」など良いイメージを抱き、着物文化への興味関心を高めた。本実践により、ゆかた着装という体験を伴う実践が、普通級の生徒への効果に留まらず、特別支援学校や教育支援教室の生徒にとっても効果があることが示唆された。

和服文化の継承を目指した教育プログラム―ゆかた着装の有無と伝統模様ワークの検討―

本研究では、和服文化への興味関心や継承する意識を高める効果をねらい、2つの教育プログラム、「ゆかた着装ワーク＋伝統模様ワーク」と「通過儀礼ワーク＋伝統模様ワーク」の実践を、中学生を対象に行った。教育プログラムの実践により、和服文化への興味関心、継承意識に及ぼす効果を、授業前後のアンケート及びワークシートの分析により明らかにし、教育現場で実践可能なプログラムの知見を得ることを目的とした。結果は次のとおりである。
1）両校とも模様ワークの実践により、和服の模様・色柄への興味関心が向上し、さらに和服文化を誇りに思い、継承していきたい気持ちを高めることや、伝統文化への興味関心が高まることが示唆された。
2）授業前に興味関心が低かった低群の生徒や男子生徒は、知識を獲得したことにより、和服文化や伝統文化への興味関心が喚起され、授業後の効果が有意に高くなった。
3）ゆかた着装のワークがある方が、無しの実践に比べて和服への理解が深められ、和服着装への意欲や和服文化を継承する意欲が有意に高くなり、ゆかた着装の体験的学びの重要性が示された。
以上のように、2つの教育プログラムの検証により、本教育プログラムの実践が、生徒の和服文化への興味関心や継承意識の向上に有効であることが示された。教育現場の様々な教育環境により、ゆかた着装に制約があったとしても、通過儀礼や模様ワーク等、文化面に特化したプログラムの実践により和服文化への興味関心、継承意欲の向上に有効であることが示唆された。 -

<p> We introduced a program for junior high school students in which students learn Kimono culture and sewing techniques by making a miniature Yukata with e-learning material which we have developed.</p><p> The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of this program of enhancing students' interest in Kimono culture through analysis of a questionnaire survey.</p><p> From this study, it became clear that the students had had little previous sewing experience. We learned that the students felt a sense of accomplishment by completing the difficult assignment of making a miniature Yukata. It deepened their understanding of Kimono and gave them a greater respect for people who lived in olden times. Students gained a heightened interest in Kimono culture and became motivated to inherit its culture.</p>

ビジネスパンプス着用時における歩行動作へのヒールの高さ、年齢の影響

本研究では，ビジネス用パンプスのヒール高さと年齢が歩行性能におよぼす影響について明らかにするため，7名の若年群と5名の中年群の女性を対象に裸足およびヒール高さ3cm,5cm,7cmのパンプス着靴時に動作解析，筋電図，重心動揺等の計測を行った．動作解析において，右膝関節・右足踵関節の角度・角速度・角加速度について検討をした結果，一歩行周期において，最大値と最小値の差である振幅を⊿Sとして有意差検定を行ったところ，ヒールの高さについて3㎝ヒールパンプスの右膝関節角度の⊿Sと右膝角速度の⊿S，右膝角加速度の⊿Sが大きくなる傾向が見られた．中年群でヒールが高く歩行が長くなると角関節の⊿Sの減少が顕著となった．筋電計測により前脛骨筋，腓腹筋ともヒールが高くなるほど筋電が大きくなり，中年群では若年群よりも顕著に筋電の増大があった．パンプスのヒール高さと重心動揺の視点からは，裸足の時よりも7㎝ヒールパンプスを着用している時に重心動揺の総軌跡長が増大し不安定になることが分かった．足圧計測で重心の軸の軌跡をヒールの高さで比較するとh3とh5ではあおり運動特有のカーブがみられるのに対して，h7では直線的な動きになっていた．

本研究では，着物文化の伝承に寄与することを目的として，着物に描かれる「伝統模様」を題材とした新規授業プログラムを開発し，実践した．新規授業プラグラムの開発においては，授業を通じて生徒が，「文化としての着物」の理解を深め，その奥深さや素晴らしさを感じる心を育むことをねらいとしてきた．授業実践は「浴衣着装ワークショップ」に続いて本研究授業「着物文化の学習」を行った．このような学習活動を通じて，生徒は幅広い視野で着物をとらえ，「人間の営み」として文化が育まれてきたことを感じて理解したことで，着物に対する「興味」，「学習意欲」，「尊重」，といった態度が生まれたと考えられる．模様を一つ選び，理由を記述することは，生徒が模様をよく観察し，生徒の心情も反映させる行為となった．生徒が本物の着物や帯に触れたこと，他の生徒と話し合い意見を共有したことも学習に効果的であった．着物文化の学習として，本授業のねらいとした「感性でとらえ」「文化的価値を知り」「興味関心の芽を育む」といった点はおおむね達成できたといえる． -

To widely spread a program aimed to make students interested in Kimono culture through classes that includes try-on Yukata experience , it is essential to understand the current situation of home economics teachers' knowledge and ability concerning Kimono culture. For teacher training programs, we were able to hold lectures concerning Kimono culture and practicum for putting on yukatas. A survey was conducted to participants in each of these classes. From the analysis it was found that to conduct classes that include try-on Yukata experience, the development in knowledge and skills of Kimono was crucial in growing the confidence of the teachers. Lack of material and assistant was not a reason that teachers did not implement Kimono culture in the classes. The study showed that by providing the teacher example classes and also having them understand the purpose of implementing such classes in home economic classes, the teachers were able to understand its efficiency and lead to motivation to conduct such classes. Also rental kimonos and cooporation with the local people lead to the diverse teaching styles of Kimomo culture.

We conducted "Try-on Yukata" classes for students in junior high and high school to enhance students' motivation to promote/convey Kimono culture. The purpose of this study is to determine what factors promote their "interest in Kimono culture" and to make clear the effectiveness of these factors by focusing on the differences in each school and the type of events held after the "Try-on Yukata" classes. From the questionnaire before and after the classes, it was shown that "interest for Kimono culture" after the class was enhanced by each factor: "interest for clothing," "interest for Yukata" before the class, and "understanding how to wear Yukata," and "motivation and excitement about how to wear Yukata" after the class. It was also found out that "interest for Kimono culture" increased more for the schools which held an event after their "Try-on Yukata" class than for those schools that did not, even for schools where "interest for Yukata" before the class was low.

Effect of the age, the body feature and types of brassieres on the comfort in movement

To make clear the effect of the age, the body feature and types of brassieres, on the comfort from a view of control breast vibration and reduction of slippage of bras, following experiments were done. The subjects consisted of two female groups, a young group of 9 females (19-22 years old) and a middle-aged group of 6 females (40-62 years old). To clarify the body feature of the breast, 3D shape of body using 3D image analysis, the breast compression deformation and fat thickness using ultrasonic diagnostic imaging were measured. 3D motion analysis using high-speed cameras was performed to measure breast vibration and a slippage of bras. The wear condition of the bras were following 4 types, a shape revised bra with wire, a shape revised bra without wire, a sports bra and a nude. The movement was forward flexion (180˚). Following results were obtained. By 3D motion analysis using high-speed cameras, control breast vibration effect of a sports bra is higher than other types of bras and a nude. Breast vibration of middle-aged group is bigger than one of a young group and the difference according to the bra became small. For middle-aged group, the thicker the subject's breast fat thickness was and the bigger the subject's breast cup size was, the larger the breast vibration and the bra slippage were.For young group, the smaller the breast compressive deformation was, the smaller the breast vibration was. A clothing pressure of sports bra was smaller than that of the shape revised bra significantly both at the top of breast and at the side panel, it was opposite at the under-breast position. There was correlation in slippage feeling, vibration feeling and comfort feeling by the sensory evaluation test after movement. The bra with moderate compression will make woman comfort because it suppresses the breast vibration and the bra slippage.

In this study, we practiced a class about the sewing skill as a subject by the production of the roll tissue cover for students registered at a care worker training course. We investigated questionnaires and examined the contents.
We divided four hours in training in the care worker training course and could teach the fabrication of the roll tissue cover, and it was got the sewing skill that student should have learned. Therefore, we think it to be proper as a subject of the clothing training in the care worker training course. As a result of having carried out questionnaires to the students who took lectures, the satisfaction of the class was high. Furthermore, we developed an inclination to want to make use of skill of the sewing that students learned in the worksite for providing nursing care. We extracted five factors as a result that we took a factor analysis about interest degree for the sewing.
On the basis of the result of this study, we want to examine the contents of this subject, a method in future. -

本研究では公立中学校できものを扱う授業を提案するために以下の2つに重点を置いて教育プログラムを実践した．①公立中学校教師が実現可能な授業内容，②浴衣の着装にとどまらない，着物の良さを味わわせる授業内容．そこで，着装技能の習得に力点を置かず，楽しさや高揚感を感じさせ，きもの文化全般のへの理解と興味関心を結び付けるため通過儀礼とそこで着用されるきものに注目しきものの種類・色柄と着用目的や意義に関する知識を紹介した．ICT活用の中継授業で教室にいながら専門家の話を伺う手法を導入した．

授業実践では「きもの」文化に対する理解を深め，ゆかたの着装法について学ぶ体験学習として，ミニチュア着物（印刷物）の組み立て，帯結びの事前練習，ペア学習を取り入れた．着装後の自己評価および教師評価を実施し着装の出来ばえを評価し，生徒の授業への取り組み方や授 業内容について検証した．授業時および授業後に振り返り調査を行いその結果を分析するとともに，ゆかたの着装感や「きものを着たことがない人や外国の人にその良さを伝える」ことを想定してゆかたの優れている点について記述させ，ゆかたの着装実践や授業内容が自国の衣装について自分の言葉で的確に表現し発信していこうとする態度とどのようにむすびついていくのかを明らかにすることを目的とする． -

きもの文化を次世代に伝承することを意図して，家庭科の授業において最もカジュアルで身近であるゆかたの着装という体験学習を含む教育プログラムの開発を行うことを目的とし，その一環として，中学校におけるゆかたの着装を題材とした授業実践とアンケート調査により，ゆかたの着装という体験学習を含む授業は，きもの文化への興味関心を喚起し，日本の伝統文化の伝承に一定の効果があることが示唆された．また，限られた授業時間の中で効率よく着つけを実践，その技術を習得させるためには，授業の方法にさらなる工夫が必要であることが明らかとなった．

本研究では，著者らの先行研究をふまえて，正しい着付けの理解と評価技能の習得，きもの文化への興味関心の向上とともに自分の衣生活と関連させて視野を広げさせることをねらいとする授業実践を行い，授業の効果，授業の構成や方法，衣生活教育との関連について検討した．生徒対象の授業前後のアンケートから和服着用時のゆかたへの興味関心が男女とも授業前より授業後に高くなった．正しい着付けについての情報（判断基準）を示し，着付けに対する自己評価を取り入れた授業および教師による評価により，生徒の正しい着つけに対する理解を深める一助となること，また，指導の際に留意する点が示された．ゆかたのコーディネートについて考える学習は，生徒の服装イメージへの効果に気づく体験となり，ゆかたを題材とする衣生活教育での服装コーディネート学習への展開の可能性が示唆された．

The thermophysiological properties of two kinds of quilt, a `kaimaki' and the popular square kind, which are matched in weight and fiber type of the wad, were determined by laboratory measurements, as well as by climatic chamber tests with human subjects. The thermal insulation rate of the popular square quilt specimen was a little larger than that of the kaimaki quilt in laboratory measurements and the average thermal insulation was almost the same with thermal manikin measurements. However, subjects preferred the kaimaki quilt with regard to thermophysiological comfort in climatic chamber tests under cold conditions. The thermal sensation of the upper arm of the subjects with a kaimaki quilt was also warmer than with the popular quilt, even though the upper-arm was covered by both types of quilt. This was because the kaimaki quilt covered the shoulders and the neck, which are some of the most sensitive parts of the body. Besides this, the closed construction of the kaimaki quilt prevented the penetration of cold air. This was confirmed by a simple hot plate model, which simulated the bed microclimate, which showed that air penetration accelerates convection in the bed microclimate.
