    中学校段階では、抽象的、論理的思考が発達するとともに社会性も発達してくる。プログラミングにおいても「双方向性」の要素など社会的な機能が含まれるようになる。中学校技術科では、「技術」を理解し、使用する能力を習得し、創造しようとする態度を育成しているが、ワンボードマイコンに生徒が書き込み、プログラムの動作確認を実物で行う活動が求められる。そこで、BBC micro:bitを用い、占いをテーマとした双方向通信のプログラミング教材を提案した。

    本研究では,圧電素子を用いた発電教材の動画を制作した。まず,どの程度の力を圧電素子に掛けると,どの程度の電圧が発生するのかを児童・生徒に説明できるように実験1~5を通してデータを収集した。次に,実験状況を撮影し,動画を制作した。動画は,中学校技術科の授業において生徒たちが圧電素子について学ぶ際に,発電の電圧がわずかでしかないとは認識しないことが目的とされた。動画は技術科教員によって評価され、授業での有用性が示された。
