<p>In this paper, we propose a sensor node using a unidirectional harmonic antenna that can acquire remote sensor information without complex digital circuits. The antenna suitable for the harmonic sensor node is characterized by utilizing a wideband E-shaped element to suppress pattern degradation at harmonic frequencies. First, through basic investigations where the sensor is modeled as a variable voltage source, we demonstrate that sensor voltage information can be remotely detected based on the transmission zero frequency. Next, using a sensor node incorporating a temperature sensor and energy harvesting circuit as an example, we show that the temperature in a remote location can be detected from the stopband frequency, thereby verifying the effectiveness of the proposed method. These findings are validated through harmonic balance analysis, electromagnetic field simulations, and RF circuit simulations.</p>

In this paper, a concept of non-contact PIM evaluation
method using balanced transmission lines is proposed for impedancematched PIM measurement systems. In order to evaluate the PIM characteristics of a MSL by using its image model, measurement system using balanced transmission line is introduced. In non-contact PIM measurement, to reduce undesirable PIM generation by metallic contact and the PIM-degradation in repeated measurements, a non-contact connector which is applicable without any design changes in DUT is introduce. The threedimensional balun composed of U-balun and balanced transmission line is also proposed so that it can be applicable to conventional unbalanced PIM measurement systems. In order to validate the concept of the proposed system, a sample using nickel producing high PIM is introduced. In order to avoid the effect of the non-contact connection part on observed PIM, a sample-configuration that PIM-source exists outside of the non-contact connection part is introduced. It is also shown using a sample using copper that, nickel-sample can be clearly differentiated in PIM characteristics while it is equivalent to low-PIM sample in scattering-parameter characteristics. Finally, by introducing the TRL-calibration and by extracting inherent DUTcharacteristics from whole-system characteristics, a method to estimate the PIM characteristics of DUT which cannot be taken directly in measurement is proposed. -

線形回路に残留する微弱な電磁気的非線形性により発生するPIMノイズは、移動体通信システム基地局アンテナ系において発生し、受信障害の原因となる。特にPIMは実装状態に敏感であるため、予想できない通信速度の低下や、実効的カバーエリアの減少にもつながる。
本研究は、このPIMノイズの測定精度の飛躍的改善を目的として実施される。具体的には、PIM発生要因の一つである終端やコネクタ接続を排除し、かつ実運用時の電磁界分布を考慮できる新たな非接触PIM測定法を実現する。また従来の終端を用いた測定法との互換性を確立する。
