    水素製造,貯蔵,流通等の最新情報について触れた本である。ここでは水素エネルギーの環境への負荷について新たなパラメータ「環境負荷係数」を用いてそれを指数化した。また,グリーン水素(=再生可能エネルギー由来の電力で生成した水素)についても言及した。これは原理的に二酸化炭素の排出はない。このグリーン水素による環境負荷係数は0.0001であり,これを現在の社会システム,つまり炭素/二酸化炭素よりも2桁低いことを見出した。
