    東京大学大学院 工学系研究科 船体構造の設計は、大きな部材配置や中央断面部材寸法を決める基本設計、大骨形状や胸部構造形状・寸法を決める詳細機能設計、設計図を実際に生産できる形の工作図・一品図に展開する生産設計・現図に分かれる。そのあらゆる過程で最適化手法を適用して合理的な設計を実施することが望まれる。 本論文では、最適設計を支える船体構造解析とメッシュ分割における最適化、遺伝的アルゴリズムを用いた船体構造の初期計画最適化と局部部材形状・寸法最適化、新手法を用いたネスティングの最適化の3点についての研究成果をまとめ、最適化手法の実用的な可能性を示した。
