    白金担持酸化タングステン膜の水素によるガスクロミック現象を-40~100℃の温度領域において解析した。常温域では、応答速度も速く、良好なガスクロミック特性が得られるが、低温になるに従って応答速度及び感度が低下してくることが明らかとなった。また、その影響は特に復帰過程において顕著に見られた。さらに、-40℃と100℃におけるガスクロミック応答を繰り返し行った場合、-40℃における応答感度・速度が大幅に低下することが明らかとなった。この劣化現象は酸化タングステン水和物の形成によるものであると推定した。
