    東京工業大学 大学院理工学研究科 機械物理工学専攻

    切りくず処理性能を含めた切削性能を高機能に発揮できる工具形状を数値的に予測するための手法を提案した.まず,複合すくい面工具の切削機構をFEMで予測するシステムを構築し,得られた切りくず形状を基に,切りくずの破断をFEMで予測し,切りくず処理性能の評価システムを構築した.さらに,工具摩耗や欠損を予測するシステムを構築した.これらを統合し,実験計画法による要因子分析から,最適工具形状の設計指針を示すシステムを確立し,また,与えられた工具形状から最適切削条件を予測するシステムを構築した.以上より,今までは切削実験により試行錯誤で決めていた工具形状や切削条件をCAE技術により求める手法を提案した.
