    <p>In order to streamline and sophisticate research capability analysis, each Research Administrator (URA) in charge of analysis needs to collaborate across and beyond the institution. In recent years, programming techniques have been widely used in data analytics. Code for Research Administration (C4RA) was established to streamline and sophisticate analytical skills of URAs. In this paper, we introduce some examples in which Python or R was used for bibliographic information or KAKEN-database analysis.     <p>In this paper, I introduce the Institutional Research activities in Yokohama National University (YNU). Professors of YNU are engaged in research activities of various areas:natural sciences, information sciences, engineering, social sciences, humanities, education, and so on. Although the citation databases show rich information about the research activities, some of those areas are not covered enough in the databases. So to include the research areas not covered regularly, we are tackling the additional analysis of the dataset of research projects adopted by KAKENHI, the largest Japanese research grant for all scientific research areas.
